In today’s world though, word of mouth alone cannot do the work. To effectively market your fitness and coaching services you need to do other things. One is  to ask for referrals from the local doctors and healthcare professionals in your city. A word from them to their patients can secure business for you. Have a working relationship with these people. It pays in the long run.

3. Social Media

You must be fully visible on social media. Have a page on all social media sites. Be engaging on social media. Have a person or persons that handle your social media pages. It could be a most powerful marketing tool for your business. Post interesting tidbits about fitness regularly. Post about what you do there. If they give their consents, regularly post testimonials from current and past clients of yours on both your social media handles and your websites. This greatly increases your visibility and brings you directly in contact with potential clients. The returns could be amazing.

Also, do regular free fitness clinics and invite the media to cover them. When the services of a fitness coach are required, your name will be the first to come to mind. Invest in the media. Also, you can sponsor certain programming on those stations, where your adverts would be aired. Put your business on billboards across town. Be visible, everywhere. It is an investment well made.

5. Youtube Channel

Today, Youtube has become the one-stop place for a lot of things. Millions of people visit the website every week, to watch silly videos or for more serious searches. Having a Youtube channel where you share short fitness and coaching videos is a great way to attract clients. As people watch and interact with your content they will increasingly search you out for your full professional services. The videos are like an advanced taste of your abilities and capabilities. Make great videos and see multitudes that will come to you.

6. Brochures And Business Cards

This is an old but still effective means of attracting clients. Drop your brochures in doctors’ waiting rooms, airport lounges, gyms and sports complexes, schools, and other establishments. Also, get in the habit of having your business cards at hand and give them out as much as possible.

7. Targeted Ads

Targeted ads have the advantage of going to an intended audience where maximum impact can be assured. An example of this is Instagram Ads. It has the advantage of going directly to people most suited to require the products and/or services. Targeted ads show your business to the people most likely to use them. The effectiveness of this can easily be measured and assessed.

8. Giving Back To The Community

Holding regular free fitness and coaching clinics in communities serves several purposes. It fulfills the corporate social responsibility of the business as well as increasing the visibility of the business. It also engenders you to the political class, which could open doors for collaboration with the local government on some projects. As they say, all publicity is good publicity.
